This year the Liverpool Art Fair was the biggest yet. Stretching from the 1st July to the 10th September and open every day! Very excited to have been involved again this year. Its always a great opportunity for local Merseyside artists to showcase their talent, and what talent there was. It was a pleasure to have my linoprints hanging alongside some fine artists. Big thanks to Dot-Art for their organisation and all involved in the daily running, the workshops and general marketing. Can't wait for next year.
So last month I received an email enquiring if I would be interested in taking part in a local TV show called "The Lowdown" which is produced by www.madeinliverpool.tv, a local production company. Very exciting, so I said "yeah, OK". That was on a Friday afternoon. They replied and said "fantastic...we'll be round on Tuesday...the show goes out on Wednesday!" WTF!! No going back, so basically had to start tidying up my studio and desperately think of something interesting to say. Failing on both these counts, I decided to just go with the flow and see what happens. I was told I had about a 5 minute slot, we'd talk about my work, the process and ideally allow the presenter to make something...easy! Well, actually, it was kind of. So with no preparation at all we just filmed. All in all, for about 20/25 minutes and they edited it into a 5 minute slot on "The Lowdown" and here's a couple of clips and some photo's! ![]()

Quick update on the onefiftygallery exhibition. Finally got to see my work on display, "Tunnel Vents - Orange Sky" and "Hot Chocolate II". Looking great, so pleased to be a part of this show.
Fantastic day at the Camp and Furnace for the Inprint Liverpool's "Celebrate Print Sunday". Surrounded by some amazing print makers from the NorthWest. Great music, and some great speakers too made the day easy. Good sales, considering the competition!! very happy, would love to do this again.
1st time at an art auction! Great fun!! Managed to sell both pieces submitted, the Tunnel Vents with orange sky is definitely a popular print! Happy days.
Big thanks the organisers, and the Baltic Social for hosting. Great bank holiday weekend at the PalmHouse in Sefton park for the Artisans in the PalmHouse Craft Fair. Difficult day on the Sunday, due to the Liverpool Rock 'n Roll marathon, but much better on the Monday!
